Mission Statement
Sacramento Child Advocates, Inc. (SCA) acts as the advocate, the voice, for abuse and neglected children who have been placed in the foster care system.
Description
SCA's team model of attorney and youth advocate social worker promotes childrens' rights to live in a healthy, safe, nuturing and stable living environment. SCA legally represents all Sacramento County children and youth (over 4,500) who have been removed from their homes due to allegations of abuse and neglect. SCA also focuses on educational advocacy, juvenile intervention and adult transitioning for young adults coming out of the foster care system.
