Mission Statement
Every Child, Every Family will have the benefit of high quality programs and activities that address the children's/families' needs in the area of academic support: homework; increased parent communication with school; stand in the gap for parents who will not/can not participate with their child; conflict resolution skills, community support, and learning opportunities. We bring AfterSchool to the child's immediate community. At the end of school year, children are participants in all-day CAMP AWARENESS Summer Camp.
Description
We bring AfterSchool to the child's neighborhood, each Center is housed on/near each apartment property. On site affords us great participation with students and their families and community and helps us to achieve a high level of success in raising achievement levels in a family-kind-of-friendly atmosphere. We strive for a 1 to 1 student-tutor ratio. Children come from diverse cultures including African-American, African, Hispanics and the Carribean Islands. English, Spanish and French speaking families. Children all speak English.
