Mission Statement

The Avon Foundation, an accredited 501(c)(3) public charity, was founded in 1955 to improve the lives of women and their families. As it passes the half century milestone, the Avon Foundation brings this mission to life through two key areas of focus: breast cancer and women's empowerment, with an emphasis on the issue of domestic violence. Through 2005 Avon philanthropy has raised and awarded more than $450 million worldwide for these issues.

Description

The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer would not be possible without the help of hundreds of dedicated volunteers. The Colorado office is always looking for more helping hands, and this year there are even more ways to get involved. We are looking for support for our Event which will be held in the Summit County, CO in the towns of Keystone, Dillon, Frisco and Breckenridge on June 27-June 28. Volunteering is a rewarding and convenient way to get involved with the Avon Walk! Your participation is vital to our success.
