The mission of the Arizona Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program is to promote and support community-based volunteers who provide quality advocacy for abused and neglected children who are involved in the juvenile courts. The CASA of Arizona program is operated locally in all 15 counties by Arizona's Juvenile Courts and is administered statewide by the Arizona Supreme Court. CASA of Yuma County program is a proud affiliate of the CASA of Arizona program and National CASA/GAL Association.

CASA of Yuma County recruits, screens, trains, and supervises community volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers. CASA Volunteers are appointed by a judge to advocate in court for the safe, permanent future of abused, neglected, and abandoned children.
