Foundation for Cancer Support

Description

The Foundation for Cancer Support, Inc. (FCS) is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization that was formed in the summer of 2009 to provide practical resources and services, at no cost, to cancer patients and survivors throughout the Metropolitan Houston area. Funds are raised through community support and grants to insure the accomplishment of these goals.

The founders of FCS, as healthcare providers, recognized a need for key support services that are as essential to cancer patients as the treatment itself. Addressing nutrition and eating, financial concerns, psychological and emotional needs is important to getting a successful outcome for cancer patients. At FCS we provide support, at no cost, to all cancer patients during their treatment and beyond.
