Mission Statement

The Meridian Humane Society is an all volunteer Non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing compassion, protection, welfare, and responsible adoption for homeless, abandoned and abused animals within the Meridian area.

Description

All potential volunteers must be 18 years of age and undergo a background check prior to acceptance into the volunteer program. Please keep in mind the background check can take up to three weeks. Upon approval, a volunteer coordinator will contact you to schedule training.

There are a number of ways you can become involved with the Meridian Humane Society, from dog walking to cleaning to adoptions to fostering, to helping with special events.
