Description

Opening in February of 2011, Still Waters Adult Day Center is a ministry of Castleton United Methodist Church. Adult day services are community-based group programs designed to meet the needs of adults (seniors and other adults) who need supervised care. We provide a variety of health, social, recreational and therapeutic activities. These services help the participants to live in the community, relieve the stress on caregivers, and reduce the cost of care by preventing or delaying nursing home placement.

Our center provides programs of activities, socialization, health monitoring, and assistance with activities of daily living. The cost of Adult day services is around 1/4th the cost of nursing home care and less than half the cost of in-home care.
