Mission Statement

Golf 4 Fun is golfers helping golfers; people helping people. Golf 4 Fun is dedicated to helping people with disabilities improve their quality of life by learning and enjoying the game of golf.

Description

Founded in 1989, Golf 4 Fun is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit entity that offers 4, five-week summer sessions to provide instruction and time on the range, practice greens and par 3 course. Our students are various ages and have a myriad of physical and mental disabliites. We strive to focus on their abilities and move them forward with the great game of golf. Each fall, we hold student play-day at Foothills GC. This season- ending bar-b-q celebrates Golf 4 Fun's student success and organizational accomplishment. We provide special seating for people with disabilities at the International PGA tournament as well as an amazing demostration of skill at the International to show that a disability need not eliminate golf from one's life. We are supported by the USGA, The International and private donations. We have our yearly fundraising tournament at Thorn Creek GC in Thornton, CO. We operate primarily out of Englewood Golf Course and have locations in Ft. Collins and Colorado Springs. Come Join us! You will love sharing the great game of golf with others!
