Our Mission: To Foster Economic Development and create system change by developing collaborative partnerships and linking resources to imrpove the health and economic outcomes for children families and communities. Our Vision All Central, Westlake, and Pico-Union children are healthy, redy to succeed in school and have a stable and economically self-sufficient families living in strong communities.
Description
Central City Neighborhood Partners (CCNP) is a non-profit community-based organization that is highly innovative in its approach to promoting systemic change and increasing services to youth and their families. Through a non-competitive formal collaboration, CCNP works with community based organizations, businesses, educational and governmental agencies in the Central City, Westlake, and Pico-Union communities of Los Angeles to achieve the agency’s mission: to foster economic development and create systemic change by developing collaborative partnerships and linking resources to improve health and economic outcomes for children, families and communities. Serving as the umbrella organization for the collaborative since 1994, CCNP pursues projects and initiatives that will create systemic change and foster economic development to support the work of our partner agencies. CCNP’s collaborative work is guided by CCNP’s Executive Director, a community development team working toward improving the built environment, and supported by CCNP and partner staff members operating the delivery of program services that assist families in achieving their health and economic goals.
