The Mission of The Children's Museum of Cleveland is to provide experiences for young children to discover the world and learn through creative play with hands-on, intellectual, social, physical and emotional development of children with a special focus on early childhood development. It encourages parents, caregivers, and teachers to enhance their relationships with children through creative play.
The Children's Museum of Cleveland is the only cultural and educational institution that specifically focuses on early childhood development - socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. You and your family are invited to discover the world and learn through play! Permanent exhibits include Splish! Splash! exploring the world of water and weather; Bridges to Our Community, a miniature Cleveland connected by bridges for interactive, imaginary role-play; and Big Red Barn designed specifically for infants and toddlers age 4 and under. The Children's Museum also offers a variety of programs and activities year-round for children, infants to age 8.
