Mission Statement

The mission of A Place For Me is to make a difference so that children affected by autism can reach their fullest potential, to educate parents and to help them find resources and advocate on beahlf of their children. The organization provides recreational and social activities for autistic children; individualized education plan (IEP) consulations; practical workshops about toilet training, communication strategies, puberty and other concerns; and collaborations with other organizations and policy makers to increase early diagnosis and treatment, awareness, referrals and services
