Mission Statement

Florida Impact to End Hunger is dedicated to advancing health equity by ending hunger for all Floridians. We mobilize communities to maximize access to federal, state, and local food and nutrition programs with a focus on Florida’s most vulnerable populations.

Description

Standing for and with the poor in the political realm has never been easy, but it's the stage where the economic struggle gets played out with the highest stakes, the largest impact, and the richest potential for change. Our organization has advocated for policy changes that address the root causes of poverty, but the immediate needs of the more than half a million of Florida's impoverished children cannot wait. Therefore, the channeling of public resources in the short-term is an important complement to long-term change.
