Mission Statement

The mission of The ADAPT Foundation through education is to improve the quality of life for the family and friends of individuals who have adapted to the dynamics of psychological or chemically dependant loved ones.

The ADAPT Foundation is committed to its role of education and guidance to all people affected by addiction.

We fulfill this mission by our commitment to:

  • Understanding the effects of addiction on the individual, family, and community
  • Promote the well-being of those who care about or live with someone in addiction
  • Assist in relieving turmoil and anxiety, while promoting healing by awareness of how addiction affects ourselves and our loved ones, and
  • Teaching those who care about someone with an addiction how to take care of themselves.
