Mission Statement

The highest priorities of the Breast Cancer Care & Research Fund (BCCRF) are to improve the level of care and the quality of life for breast cancer patients. BCCRF believes that better breast cancer education will empower women to seek an earlier diagnosis and understand the pros and cons of their treatment options.

Description

BCCRF's educational objective includes providing information on new advances in diagnosis, treatments, available resources, leading edge treatment centers and assistance in treatment choices. BCCRF uses all available communication tools to accomplish this most important objective. They include the Internet (www.breastlink.org), presentations, symposiums, and a free newsletter, BreastLink.org. BCCRF's research goal is to support protocols of promise, facilitate research projects, evaluate treatment options, compile and publish research papers and establish a research fund to seek out and financially support researchers who are at the leading edge of breast cancer treatments to find a cure for the disease.
