Description

MS Helping Hands is a statewide, 501 (c) (3) - all-volunteer organization formed to increase awareness of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to the general public and provide people with MS and their families a resource for information and support. Through our education programs and support groups, MS Helping Hands gives people with MS a place to voice their concerns about how the disease affects them, their loved ones, and their community. Our financial assistance fund has awarded over $375,000 in financial assistance and medical equipment grants since its inception in 1999 to people with MS who are currently undergoing financial hardships and/or are being denied other assistance and reside in the State of Washington.


Helping Hand’s Donor Closet recycles durable medical and mobility equipment for use by anyone with specific needs for a minimum suggested donation. Since inception, the Donor Closet has recycled over 175,000 pieces of equipment andprovides services & resources that will enhance the quality of life for many people.
