Description
The Salvation Army began in 1978 in Pasco County. It has nurtured its growth and caring spirit for over 20 years. During that time, the services offered by The Salvation Army have grown to embrace the sick and lonely, care for the poor, daily feeding program, give shelter to abused women and children and counseling and support to all victims of domestic violence and provide emergency response in times of disaster.
The "quick response" arm of The Salvation Army provides temporary emergency assistance to individuals and families. Supplies basic needs such as food, rent, utilitiy assistance, clothing, and referrals to other collaborating agencies. Offers a daily hot nutritious meal, at no cost, for anyone who would like to join us.
