Mission Statement

Musana Jewelry believes that women have unlimited potential. After a period of stable employment and training with Musana, Ugandan women will gain the self-respect, independence, and skills to obtain meaningful employment of their choice, thus enabling them to pursue their dreams.

Description

Musana Jewerly employes women living in extreme poverty in Uganda. Each woman who works for Musana has something special to offer. Each piece of jewelry sold takes them one step closer to survival, to providing for their children, and to eventual independence to pursue their dreams. Their hearts are in their work.

While working for Musana, they practice English, receive literacy training, health training, financial guidance, and help with savings plans. The hope is that Musana will be a springboard for them to eventually stand on their own and pursue their dreams.

After paying the women’s salaries and for operational costs, Musana jewelry profits are put back into the community to strengthen families and stability through various international development projects.
