Description

A Kind Voice is a non-profit organization, whose purpose is to make the world a kinder, more connected place, one conversation at a time. We are a hybrid between a peer counseling hotline and a radio call-in show.

In a world where it is easy to feel a bit isolated, we are setting up a call-in line, where caller's can share their thoughts about the ball game last night, the news of the day or any topic they would like to discuss. The call-in line will be manned by volunteer Kind Voice listeners. We live upstream from crisis management, as our purpose is to reduce the anxiety caused by isolation, by providing a way for people to connect before anxiety reaches the crisis level.

It was an absolute joy working with A Kind Voice as a radio personality. This opportunity allowed me to find guest and host a show that highlighted many interesting people. I would definitely recommend volunteering with this organization. I worked with David, who was a great mentor.
