Mission Statement The Palmetto Palace is dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare and support services for underserved communities by meeting people where they are--through mobile outreach, compassionate care, and community-driven solutions. Our Aims Deliver equitable healthcare through mobile medical, dental, and pharmacy services. Support families facing medical crises with direct relief and resource connection. Address health disparities by providing education, screenings, and prevention services. Empower volunteers, students, and healthcare professionals to serve and lead in their communities. Our Core Values Compassion - We lead with heart in all that we do. Access - We bring care directly to those who need it most. Equity - We serve with fairness and dignity, always. Description
The Palmetto Palace is a South Carolina-based nonprofit founded in 2010 to provide comfort and critical resources to individuals and families facing medical crises. What began as bedside support for hospitalized families has grown into a statewide outreach organization delivering mobile healthcare services, education, and relief to underserved communities.
Our programs include a Mobile Health Unit, a Pharmacy Assistance Program for uninsured patients, an Education Lab on Wheels, and our newest initiative-Free Dental Day-bringing no-cost dental care to communities in need.
We aim to eliminate barriers to care, reduce health disparities, and uplift the most vulnerable through compassionate outreach. Recognized as a CDC and SC DHEC Immunization Champion, and recipient of multiple leadership awards, The Palmetto Palace is proud to serve South Carolina with integrity, innovation, and heart.

This local nonprofit provides holistic community care through medical and dental care, as well as a food pantry. As a volunteer, I instantly felt like part of the team, and I am grateful to be a part of such a bright organization. Everyone cares so much about this mission, and I love serving the community in ways that promote wellness and growth.

Great group of people and organization. I had no idea how to pack a survival kit or why it's needed until I helped.
