Through our thoughtfully designed academic, character and adventure based programs, Tahoe Expedition Academy has created an environment where children are inspired to learn and find joy in their discoveries. Unlike a school that covers a wide and shallow spectrum of content, the Expeditionary Learning model we use - created by Kurt Hahn and Outward Bound - allows students to dive deep into compelling topics. Our 'inch-wide, mile deep' approach allows our students to understand subjects from multiple perspective. Steudents study important issue, collaborate with local experts, volunteer for service and contribute time and energy to our community while thinking divergently to create products with real-world relevance and applicability. The outcome is nothing less than extraordinary.
