Mission Statement

At Hooves with Heart, our mission is simple--to provide exceptional learning experiences inspired by interactions with animals and nature. Our focus is on helping young people build confidence and life skills to help them navigate successfully in our increasingly complex world.

Description

Located on a 17-acre farm just north of Seattle, our facility provides a holistic setting where animals and nature become the teachers. From a gentle herd of horses to a lively band of chickens, there are endless opportunities for human-animal interaction.

Our instructors are experienced equine facilitated learning professionals with a passion for connecting students with animals and the environment. They help shape the experience with an emphasis on the core values of leadership, responsibility, communication, courage and compassion. A registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Hooves with Heart offers programs throughout the year and works in partnership with community organizations including YouthCare, who focus on supporting homeless youth.
