Finding the gifts and strengths in each and every child and adult through the arts, music, dance and puppetry places the focus on ability rather than disability. Drama Interaction is a nonprofit organization dedicated to working with individuals with special needs, inner city communities, seniors, and the underserved population. Everyone should have the opportunity to experience the ARTS!
We are looking for people who enjoy working with children and adults of all abilities. Volunteers will assist teachers in theater and dance programs. They may be needed for shadowing a student, passing out props, costumes, musical instruments, assist in reading scripts, etc.
No experience is necessary, come with a smile and be ready to have fun!
Our programs are currently being held in person, although sometimes it is necessary to facilitate them virtually due to the pandemic.
