Dr. Phillips High School's mission is to provide a safe, diverse educational community where all students have the opportunity to excel academically, personally, artistically, athletically, and socially.

AVID's mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society.

Description

AVID focuses on preparing high school students for college and career readiness by providing organizational, reading, writing and inquiry skills. We provide support with their classes by way of weekly tutorials. The program at Dr. Phillips services 9-12 graders.
