Mission Statement

The Main Street Crit is more than just a race - it offers something for everyone. It is a unique, signature event that brings the community together to promote our capital city and the revitalization of Main Street. Imagine Columbia’s Main Street lined with fans as the best of America’s runners race under the street lights of downtown, at night.

Description

For Main Street, by Main Street

Since this race is eight laps around two blocks, it will make for a great spectator event. The businesses, restaurants, and other downtown operations will benefit from all the downtown activity.

"Main Street" is not just a thoroughfare of Downtown Columbia. It is a symbol of our city. Our Main Street represents all that is Columbia. We are all residents of Main Street. Main Street Crit is non-profit corporation, started to promote our state capital’s city center and the health and wellness of those who live, work, and play in it.
