Mission Statement

Mission The African Cultural Center (ACC) is a 501c(3) not for profit organization based in NYC. Its primary function is to educate, cultivate and raise awareness of African cultures. In addition the ACC seeks to develop and mentor businesses in the Diasporan community in order to build business growth and acumen in that sector. Ultimately, ACC aspires to leverage it’s many resources, events and contacts to connect native African peoples with first generation African-Americans and peoples on the continent.


Vision To empower Africans on the continent and in the diaspora to take their rightful seat at the global marketplace.
To that end, ACC envisions a thriving community center in the heart of Manhattan that caters to Africans from all corners of the continent on an individual and business bases. This center will act as a depository of information while promoting reconciliation to all African and African-American peoples.
ACC envisions building this community through education, the promotion of African culture through events and intensive workshops for businesses and entrepreneurs.
