Description
CHILDREN AND YOUTH We donâ t just help parents and grandparents with child rearing skills, we also offer programs to enrich the lives of our youth. Homework assistance, recreation, before and after care, day camp, and cultural enrichment activities like music lessons give children and teens some excitement and a better chance for success in school. FAMILY AND COMMUNITY The King Center provides numerous forms of service and assistance to families and the community through information and referrals for emergency assistance and employment readiness and placement, GED preparation, computer technology training, adult literacy tutoring, and much more. SENIOR CITIZENS AND ADULTS From hot lunches to social and recreational activities to support meetings, our programs for senior citizens and adults provide comprehensive services to meet a variety of needs. And as more grandparents are raising their childrenâ s children than ever before, our supportive activites for these sole guardians and their grandchildren are tapping into unique challenges.
