Mission Statement

Adopt a pet, find a friend, save a life! Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue is committed to saving dogs that are abandoned in shelters and animal control facilities and providing them with a second chance to be adopted into loving families. Our staff is composed entirely of volunteers.

Description

Fortunate Pooches and Lab Rescue is celebrating 16 years of compassion in action! On Oct 13 2003 FPALR was founded by four women concerned about treatment of animals in Chicago and surrounding areas. Today, we celebrate the legacy, the animals we've cared for, and our plans to continue this important work in the future. Help in our mission of building a community of caring by helping pets and educating people.
