The Salvation Army Domestic Violence Program

The Mission of this agency is to provide cost free, comprehensive services to victims of abuse and domestic violence, and to educate others about domestic violence in order to promote prevention.

This includes a safe residential facility and crisis hotline, availalble at all times, to alll people.

Description

Volunteers needed for direct client services. All volunters who porvide direct client services will need to complete state certification requirements. Which include 30 hours of training.

Volunteers needed for assistance with daily activities such as cooking and other assistance to those residing in the shelter.

Volunteers needed for prevention programming. This is to work with the prevention coordinator, to provide children in the communtiy with Peace Maker Programming.

All volunteers must go through a criminal background check.
