Mission Statement

Friends for Life attempts to provide a bridge for animals from homelessness or abandonment to their forever homes. As we do not have a shelter, we cannot take in large numbers of animals. Our programs seek to serve the community by assisting individuals in finding new homes for animals they can no longer care for, stopping the births of unwanted animals and providing off site adoption events where our foster animals and private individuals can bring animals out to meet and greet potential adopters. Our foster programs provide loving homes for animals with wonderful foster people who work with the dogs or cats to provide socialization and rehabilitation as necessary while we search for great placements. We work with local shelters and other rescue groups whenever possible, always focusing on what is best for the animals.
