Mission Statement

To provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for chldren and adults with cognitive disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Description

Special Olympics Southeastern Wisconsin serves more than 1,400 athletes in Rock, Jefferson, Walworth, Racine and Kenosha counties. Special Olympics Southeastern Wisconsin hosts 18 different sports and puts on eight competitions. We also host two Polar Plunges, the Ride with the Flame Motorcycle Ride, Final Leg Torch Runs and many other fundraisers.
