Variety the Children's Charity of New York

Description

For over 60 years, Variety the Children’s Charity of New York has been making a difference by providing essential funds to non-profit organizations whose programs use the arts as a catalyst to transform the lives of underserved youth. Through our funding, the tri-state area’s most disadvantaged youth gain entrance to the world of art: from dance to theater; poetry to photography; film-making to painting and beyond.

Our grantees have a unique demographic foci, making the arts accessible to the most underserved youth of New York City: homeless youth, foster care children, LGBTQ teens, juvenile justice involved adolescents, and young people experiencing various levels of post-traumatic stress disorder.
