Providing housing, education, and counseling
to empower women to live wholesome and abundant lives.
BFRH is a minimal supervised transitional care facility that includes three phases of recovery to be completed within a period of nine to twelve months. BFRH participants’ progression through the phases will be determined by their active involvement in all BFRH activities. BFRH will assist participants to successfully attain their individual recovery objectives and to acquire necessary independent living goals. BFRH activities include but are not limited to the following: 12-step meetings, church attendances, life skills courses, and job training programs. Education is very important in the BFRH program; those participants without a high school diploma will be assisted in obtaining a G.E.D. certificate while completing the BFRH program. All BFRH participants will be encouraged to pursue their educational training to the highest level possible. BFRH staffing will be comprised of employees as well as trained volunteers. BFRH staff and volunteers will assist residents with transportation to job searches, meetings and employment.
