Junior Achievement of Hawaii's mission is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy.
Junior Achievement (JA) empowers young people to own their economic success. Our volunteer-delivered, K-12 programs foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills, and use experiential learning to inspire kids to dream big and reach their potential.
Junior Achievement impacts 4 million U.S. students in more than 176,000 classrooms. With the help of 178,000 volunteers, JA students develop the skills they need to experience the realities and opportunities of work and entrepreneurship in the 21st-century global marketplace.
JA Hawaii recruits and trains volunteers to provide students education programs focused in business, citizenship, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics/character, financial literacy, and Work/Career-Life Skills. We serve over 6,500 students in Hawaii from Kindergarten through grade 12. Volunteers will be provided with all materials/lesson plan, which includes fun and interactive activities. Programs range from 5 to 15 sessions depening on grade level, approximately one hour per session. Let Their Success Be Your Inspiration!
