The mission of the Idaho Health for Children and Families and the Idaho State Institute for Rural Health is to improve the health of communities through research, education, and service.

Description

The Institute of Rural Health at Idaho State University and the Idaho Department of Labor's Serve Idaho have combined efforts to recruit AmeriCorps State and AmeriCorps National volunteers in the state of Idaho. AmeriCorps State and National programs support a broad range of local service programs that engage thousands of Americans in intensive service to meet critical community needs.
