Turning Point Ministries - Edmond Turkey Trot

Mission Statement

The annual Edmond Turkey Trot is a community 5k run and 1 mile family walk held in Downtown Edmond on Thanksgiving morning. All ages, strollers, costumes, and friendly dogs on a leash are welcome. 100% of proceeds from the event go to Turning Point Ministries. Turning Point is a 501c-3 organization charged to provide affordable housing to qualified families that have a specific need to live in the Edmond area. A recent project by Turning Point Ministries is a 12 home development called Legacy Station located in Downtown Edmond. The project is funded by volunteer efforts, fundraisers such as the Edmond Turkey Trot, corporate and private donations, and grants.
