Samaritan Foster Grandparent Program

Description

Foster Grandparents are trained seniors who encourage children with one-on-one support.

Volunteer assignments may include listening to a child read, having lunch with a child or listening to a child talk about a new concept or idea.

Income eligible volunteers receive a $2.65 per hour tax-free stipend, mileage reimbursement, training and the lasting reward of respect and affection from the children they work with.
