The mission of the VESTIA Corporation is to provide supplemental support to needy individuals and families known to the Contra Costa County Employment and Human Services Department.

Description

VESTIA opporates in partnership with the Contra Costa County Employment and Human Services Department. It acts as a pass through for grants and donations that go to the Department for needs identified by Social Workers and the VESTIA staff. The staff are employees of the Department who are supervised by Department managers. The Department provides offices for the staff.

VESTIA uses donations fo provide scholarships for foster youth who are graduating from high school and going on to higher education. Other donations include backpacks, clothing, holiday assistance, food, etc.
