Mission Statement

To help and inspire at risk students in Sandy Springs achieve academic success and graduate from high school via academic enrichment, mentoring and life skills programs.

Description

Understanding that the expression "at-risk" has been used to mean different things, the Sandy Springs Mission considers students to be at-risk if a student comes from a home where:

  • English is not spoken at home as the primary language;
  • The parents are not able to help their children with schoolwork because of their own low-level of education;
  • The parents cannot pay for the extra help necessary for their child to succeed in school.
