Description

We have a team of doctors, nurses, CNAs, chaplains, social worker and volunteers who serve our families and patients while the patient is living and after the patient has passed. Volunteers serve us by being patient volunteers, administrative volunteers and doing special projects such as making birthday cakes or knitting throws for our patients. The patient volunteers go through 12 hours of training and other requirements in order to meet the requirements of VistaCare and the State Department of Health for Indiana. Medicare requires that every hospice have volunteers.
