The Homeowners Employment Corporation (THEC) is a home retention company which offers career advancement services to homeowners who are at risk of foreclosure as a result of being unemployed or underemployed. Our goal is not just to keep homeowners employed, but to educate homeowners on developing a second plan of action if one income in the household is lost and to promote career advancement for better paying jobs. Our service strategy is focused on a holistic approach by developing partnerships that will offer viable resources in financial planning and management, career coaching, credit counseling, job skills training, entrepreneurship, and work-life balance, that will not only benefit the customer, but the community as a whole.
