Village Enterprise is a nonprofit dedicated to ending extreme poverty in rural Africa through entrepreneurship and innovation.

Description

Village Enterprise provides the rural ultra-poor with the resources to create sustainable, income-generating businesses. This income both meets current needs, and generates savings that is set aside for future needs. Outcomes include better nutrition, improved health, increased education for children, higher-quality housing, individual empowerment, and a sense of hope now and in the future.
