Home Respite Care, Inc. is a volunteer, 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the residents of Oconto County. Home Respite Care provides care to compliment services provided by our clientâ s health care team in service to those with chronic or terminal illness, and is designed to help the individual remain in the home setting. Home Respite Care is self supporting and provides services free of charge to our clients. Home Respite Care is identified by our peers as the leading respite care organization in Northeast Wisconsin. The following is the vision of Home Respite Care, Inc. It is shared by the Board of Directors, the Program Director, Volunteers and Clients of Home Respite Care. This is an outline of behavior that is deemed necessary to reach the goals and objectives of the organization. Quality is a commitment by concerned individuals to provide excellence in service in a timely, efficient and accurate manner with ongoing evaluation for improvement in meeting individualâ s personal values. Demonstrates competence and maintains skills to fulfill job description. Displays a positive attitude. Encourages other to do their best. Not even oneâ s own pain weighs so heavy as the pain one feels with someone, for someone, a pain intensified by the imagination and prolonged by a hundred echoes. Shows respect for others. To give the caregiver relief from caring for their loved one who may be suffering from an illness, be frail, elderly, or chronically ill, or suffer from dementia or Alzheimer's disease. To provide daily reassurance calls to citizens who are living alone who may be elderly, isolated, frail and not have alot of contact with their families or loved ones.
