Mission Statement

Marin Theatre Company (MTC) is a professional regional theatre committed to producing high quality live theatre designed to engage, entertain, challenge and educate our audiences, thereby enriching the cultural life of our community. We provide a forum for contemporary, classic and emerging playwrights and, through our conservatory, an environment that introduces people of all ages to the transformative power of theatre.

Description

The production of plays is complemented by a series of expanded programs including; teachers night out, childrens summer camp, ongoing theatre classes for youth, MTC's School Tour, Pay-what-you-can nights and much, much more. MTC is proud to introduce our Norton Sky Cooper and David Calicchio new and emerging playwrite prizes. MTC also features our NuWerkz series that supports new play development and our Lieberman series featuring two new productions in our smaller, more intimate Sally Lieberman Stage.
