Mission Statement

Manage the Mark Twain National Forest to conserve the rich ecological resources while providing a variety of goods and services to the American public.

Description

The 1.5 million acre Mark Twain National Forest, located primarily in southern Missouri, is managed for ecological sustainability, while providing a variety of goods and services to the public, including recreation opportunities such as hiking, hunting, horseback riding, fishing, river floating, and ATV riding.
