Mission Statement
The Experimental Theatre Project of White Cat Productions is an independent, non-profit 501(c)3 organization that creates theatre and performance which pushes experimental boundaries of both playwriting and production.
Description
As an all-volunteer theatre group, the Experimental Theatre Project aims for multi-disciplinary experimentation and innovation, as well as artistic integrity and excellence, in all of its performance endeavors. The Experimental Theatre Project of White Cat Productions is particularly interested in the relevance of performance to social and cultural concerns, and strives to explore these issues in theatrical form as well as in content. As a small theatre group, ETP further emphasizes the involvement of local and regional artists. We were founded in 2003, and produced our first show, "Exchange of Prisoners," in September 2004. In 2005, our June show, "Hook the Holy Hollow," was performed from June 3-18, and we are currently preparing for our November show, "Wild White Rose." We are recruiting designers, technicians, and stage managers for at least two shows per year, on a stipend basis shortly, so we welcome your application!
