To provide streamline access to services that promote the safety, self-sufficiency, and well being of domestic and sexual violence survivors and their children by fostering a structured collaborative community response in one central location.
The Mary Parrish Center (MPC) is a unique non-residential program that provides streamlined access to services for domestic/sexual violence victims and their children during dangerous and/or critical times in their lives. By integrating and developing positive relationships with all health, housing, legal, law enforcement, and educational systems, domestic/sexual violence victims receive comprehensive expert care in one central location. This collaborative community response helps eliminate obstacles victims previously faced in accessing available services. The MPC provides the following services/referrals or placements free of charge: Petitions for Orders of Protection, Criminal Warrants, Pro Bono Legal Representation, Court Accompaniment, Personalized Safety Planning, Victim Injury Compensation, Emergency Shelter, Housing, Information & Transportation to GED Class, Job Placement, Transportation to Court, Case Management, Documentation Retrieval , Drug Rehabilitation, Long-term Therapy, Food and Clothing, Relocation/Moving, Furniture/Household Items, Immigration Self-Petition, Resume Writing, Budget Preparation, Travelers Aid , Medical Care, Child Care and Family/Individual Counseling.
