Mission Statement

Haven Coalition is a network of volunteers who open their homes to low-income women forced to travel to New York City for second-trimester abortions. Haven exists because abortion, while legal, is often not accessible.

Description

Haven is an all-volunteer organization with relationships to several NYC clinics that refer patients to us. Since launching in June 2001, Haven has provided a safe nightâ s lodging for more than 400 women.
