Mission Statement

The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship's mission is to provide programs that inspire young people from low-income communities to stay in school, to recognize business opportunities and to plan for successful futures.

Description

The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship Bay Area office has been inspiring budding entrepreneurs since 1994. NFTE teaches business concepts and entrepreneurship to youth through experiential activities. Individuals and groups from the business world inspire students by sharing their business expertise and bringing the real world into the classroom.

NFTE students complete a business plan and present it to a panel of judges, competing for 'seed money' for their business and the opportunity to compete at the regional and national level.
