Promote development of hostels within Central California. Hostels provide simple, safe, dormitory-style accommodations for world travelers. Hostels operate upon principles of community and cooperation among guests and promote cultural understanding. hostel programs link community residents and program participants giving local residents the opportunity to meet and mingle with guests from around the world.
