Mission Statement

The Logan County Historical Society shall have as its purpose to promote education on the history of Logan County and the collection and display of artifacts, documents, and other historical items from all of Logan County.

Description

The Logan County Historical Society's home site is the Logan County Museum at 521 E. Columbus St., Bellefontaine, Ohio. The museum consists of a historic house and seperate museum space featuring exhibits on transportation, local towns, medicine, local companies, veterans of the county, and other general local history topics. The museum hosts visits from several schools throughout the year, as well as adult bus tour groups, and holds special events in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Each year the museum decorates for Halloween and Christmas and holds special open houses. In the spring, the museum opens a new exhibit with a large open house.
